Omnium’s Lisbon-based team, led by Branch Director Pedro Esteves, was appointed to deliver pre contract Cost Consultancy, Quantity Surveying and Project Management services for Ombria’s Oriole Village project, supporting our developer client as it commenced work on this new residential and leisure community for southern Portugal. Comprising 83 sustainably-built properties inspired by the region’s architectural heritage and set within a protected landscape, and operated by leading hotel operator Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, Oriole Village promotes relaxation and wellbeing through its easy-to-manage, fully-furnished and equipped property portfolio ranging from 1 to 3-bedroom apartments to 2 to 3-bedroom semi-detached villas and 4-bedroom detached villas, spa and wellness facilities, 5* luxury hotel amenities and an 18-hole golf course.
Working closely alongside our developer client, Omnium brought hands-on, local expertise and an unmatched insight into the Portuguese property market to Oriole Village, progressing the pre contract phase of this project to schedule and budget. Critical to Oriole Village is our client’s commitment to sustainability, which lies at the heart of Ombria. “Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings” have been designed according to bioclimatic architecture principles, using locally-sourced materials and geothermal and solar energy systems, together with a raft of other measures including waste separation and recycling, electric vehicle charging points, careful water management and sustainable HVAC systems that minimise the development’s impact on the local environment. Omnium’s international sustainability, decarbonisation and energy management experience adds value to Oriole Village, maintaining the client’s eco-focused, premium and luxurious vision throughout.
Ombria Algarve (Pontos Group)
