Dubai’s latest supertall tower, Uptown Dubai, topped out in Q1 2022 at 340 metres, creating a striking new addition to the Dubai skyline and becoming the first supertall tower in the Uptown Dubai District.

Omnium’s Managing Director Nicholas Harris and Group Communications Manager Emma Byrne were recently given an exclusive guided site walk around the Uptown Dubai site, viewing the lower elevations with senior client representatives before heading to the top of the tower to take in breathtaking views of Dubai.
Our site walk was a fantastic opportunity to continue our strong client partnership with DMCC, maintaining communication between senior representatives and forward-planning as the site moves to development of interior spaces.
Developed by DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre), construction commenced in July 2019 and has continued at pace in spite of challenges posed by the global pandemic.

With current project One Za’abeel also targeting Gold LEED status, our team enjoys highly relevant experience in sustainability-focused development in Dubai and continually applies this knowledge to Uptown Dubai in order to achieve our client’s commercial and ethical build objectives.
The Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture-designed Uptown Dubai tower comprises 78 floors, serving the business, resident and visitor communities with premium office, residential, hospitality and leisure spaces that will draw new appeal to the Jumeirah Lakes Towers district, a lively neighbourhood featuring world-class retail, dining, entertainment and hospitality offerings.
Uptown Dubai’s design replicates brilliant diamonds, with a faceted glass façade which will brightly illuminate interiors with natural light. Harsh glare will be filtered out by the smart design, creating an inviting and comfortable environment internally and a stunning exterior that makes a strong statement about this vibrant part of the emirate.
Uptown Dubai will also become home to DMCC’s headquarters, offering exceptional office facilities for the client’s people.
