Embedding excellence at Omnium for 25 years
Nicholas joined Omnium in 2001, working alongside Chairman Peter Westeng and our Board Directors for many years before his appointment to Managing Director in 2019.
Steering the business through the global and regional challenges of recent years, Omnium International has experienced significant growth and expansion under Nicholas’s leadership as a result of diversification and continued growth and innovation in consultancy and advisory services delivered.
Now with a global headcount of over 400 professionals, Omnium has achieved approximately 15% year-on-year regional revenue growth through our involvement in major developments including Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai Islands, Como Residences, and Yas Island’s Sea La Vie in the UAE, and Diriyah Gate, AlUla, Qiddiya and Rua Al Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
Evolving Omnium’s services to build for the future
Under Nicholas’s tenure, Omnium has evolved beyond our traditional Cost Consultancy and Quantity Surveying to launch complete Development Management Consultancy services, drawing together expertise including development management, project management, design management, procurement, cost consultancy, and risk and governance for a coordinated delivery model that supports clients as a single advisory partner throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Beyond our core consultancy services, Omnium continues to lead the industry through the development and implementation of initiatives such as our proprietary cost intelligence platform, OMNI, the launch of joint venture IOX with technology consultancy Innovaite, sustainability programmes that have achieved Carbon Neutral status, and talent development programmes such as our RICS-recognised APC support scheme and our Falcon Programme to grow Emirati and Saudi talent.
Nicholas provides strong and stable leadership throughout change and evolution which prioritises service and the care of everyone within the Omnium organisation for a positive and exciting future.
