Creating a stunning gateway to Downtown Dubai, Sky View’s twin towers have made an impressive impact on Dubai’s city skyline. A key development in our client’s portfolio, Sky View was designed by architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill whose notable work also includes the Burj Khalifa, and the development features a unique sky bridge connecting both towers. Containing 166 hotel rooms for hospitality brand The Address, the 260m-tall Sky View is also home to 531 serviced apartments, lobbies and lobby lounges, offices and public areas. Sky View delivers leisure and residential spaces in a spectacular location, bringing further longevity and investment to the world-renowned Downtown Dubai area.

Launched in 2013, Omnium was appointed by developer client Emaar Properties to provide a full suite of Cost Consultancy and QS services to Sky View. From concept to design, through to completion of this large-scale construction project, our work dovetailed with other Downtown Dubai projects, including infrastructure development, and was supported by our niche team of tall building, residential and hospitality project specialists. Cost Planning, Contracts Management and Quantity Surveying, as well as key project management, successfully delivered Sky View to create a significant new Downtown landmark.
Led on site by Associate Director Jason Basha, Omnium’s team is proud to have worked on Sky View throughout its development. With our Head Office only minutes away, local expertise allowed our team to easily access the site, client and all project stakeholders and consultants whilst ensuring close collaboration and strong working relationships with all parties. Omnium’s innovative Cost Planning team, one of the largest in the region, provided essential support to a 6-strong team of on-site Quantity Surveyors throughout Contract Management phases, establishing value engineering techniques that ran the project efficiently whilst always maintaining Emaar’s principal values of quality and uniqueness in the project.
