Omnium International Dubai team attends Value Engineering Summit 2019

One presentation and two panelists from Omnium International

With significant project experience, cost planning and benchmarking expertise, Omnium International was delighted to be involved with the Value Engineering Summit for 2019. Key team members, each benefiting from years of hands-on value engineering experience, took part in a presentation and two panel discussions during the day-long Summit.

Fernando Freitas showcased Omnium International’s knowledge, presenting his experiences of value engineering and his thoughts regarding the ‘Misconception of Value’ – in particular, how ‘value’ and ‘cost’ must be distinguished – at the event.

Our panellists included Nicholas Harris, Omnium International’s Managing Director, who discussed his thoughts on ‘Are Design and Build Contracts the Future of Cost Effective Construction in the Middle East?’ and our Senior Quantity Surveyor Ben Russell was a panellist for the discussion on ‘Utilising Technology and Software During the VE Process’.
