In a wide-ranging interview, Fernando focuses on Omnium’s continued growth and ambitions, the challenges of staying ahead in an ever-changing business landscape and our organisation’s commitment to a ‘quality-first’ mindset.
Moving the construction sector forward
In discussing how construction should be looking to move forward, Fernando believes that the industry still has a long way to go in terms of innovation.
Outdated practices remain commonplace, and a revolution in construction would compel the whole sector to rethink what we do, and how. By embracing new technologies, and by experimenting with materials and methods, we can still build interesting and characterful assets with a ‘design to budget’ mindset.
