Omnium International is delighted to announce the appointment of Fernando ‘Nando’ Freitas to Main Board Director of Omnium International.

Fernando joined Omnium in July 2014, and has led the cost management of ITHRA Dubai’s One Za’abeel development since the early concept stage, in addition to supporting our operations at ITHRA’s Deira Waterfront Development.
A highly professional and hardworking team player, Fernando’s dedication and commitment to the development of Omnium’s business has resulted in his rapid advancement through the company. He was promoted to Associate Director in August 2016 and rose to Branch Director in July 2019.
An excellent communicator and negotiator with – crucially - a natural talent for diplomacy, over his 7+ years working on One Za’abeel, Fernando has built a strong relationship with all those he works with, whether it be client, fellow consultant, contractor or indeed his own team, gaining their trust, respect and confidence. These attributes are immeasurably important in our industry and have been integral to the growth of our portfolio of ICD projects.
One Za’abeel is a complex and high-pressured development and, during his tenure on this high-profile project, Fernando has managed challenges with a professional, pragmatic and visionary style, consistently going above and beyond to evolve his team’s services and ensuring that we support our client at the highest level. Through implementation of new protocols, Fernando has enhanced the efficiency of our services and frequently exceeds the expectations of our client and others on site.
