Now enjoying a population three times its initial estimate, Dubai Marina continues to grow and is a great success story of development in Dubai. It is now one of the world’s largest marinas, attracting visitors from across the globe as well as providing quality homes and leisure facilities for residents. Omnium is proud to have partnered with our client to deliver this outstanding project.
Omnium’s Dubai-headquartered team, led by Director Nicholas Harris, was appointed by our client to provide full pre- and post-contract QS services for the initial phases of the Dubai Marina project. Uniquely, this included the dredging of the marina bay itself to create the waterway and berthing area, as well as development onshore of the initial phase’s six tall towers, the Dubai Yacht Club, the Dubai Marina Mall and the more recent addition of the Gourmet Tower. Dubai Marina was a master plan development, requiring significant input from Omnium’s infrastructure QS’ as well as our highly experienced onsite team.
