The Armani Hotel has been a fantastic addition to Dubai’s hospitality offer. Situated within the world’s tallest freestanding building, the Burj Khalifa, the Hotel offers a unique destination for those seeking both luxury and convenience. This project remains central to Omnium’s hospitality portfolio, demonstrating the efficiency of our Cost Consultancy coupled with excellence in collaborative working and partnership-building.
Omnium, in its role as Executive QS over the whole Burj Khalifa development, was appointed by Emaar Properties to deliver Pre and Post Contract Quantity Surveyor expertise to the Armani Hotel. With substantial hospitality sector experience and benefiting from a close relationship with our client, Omnium seamlessly integrated our management of the Armani Hotel project into our work for Burj Khalifa, ensuring efficient completion of the overall structure and its occupiers. The 304-keys Armani Hotel, including guest rooms and residences, was finished to exacting standards which completed the development in line with the brand’s vision, budget and guest expectations, as well as the Armani commitment to an environmentally-sound hotel.
Omnium’s project team, led by Managing Director Nicholas Harris, is delighted to have partnered with Emaar and Armani on the completion of the Armani Hotel within the Burj Khalifa. Having now established itself as a world-leading destination, the Armani Hotel remains as desirable as it did at its launch. Efficient Pre Contract benchmarking by Omnium’s locally-headquartered team ensured close and accurate budget control, without compromising the finished standard of the hotel. Pragmatic and proactive Contracts Management, and an approach to project coordination and stakeholder collaboration which established Omnium and Nicholas Harris as regional leaders in Cost Consultancy, completed the project successfully to put Downtown Dubai, the Burj Khalifa and the Armani Hotel on the global stage.
