Omnium’s experience at One Za’abeel is unparalleled, our Cost Consultancy and Commercial Management team having worked on site throughout the building’s construction alongside developer client Ithra Dubai. We were delighted to extend our invaluable knowledge of this unique site, gained over 8 years, to support the creation of One&Only One Za’abeel’s distinctive, premium hotel, applying hospitality, infrastructure and commercial mixed-use sector expertise to deliver hundreds of new keys, chic event spaces, eleven restaurants and bars, two poolside destinations and outstanding wellness, health and aesthetics amenities, including access to sister brand SIRO One Za’abeel’s health and fitness facilities, that make the most of the space One Za’abeel has to offer.
Omnium’s team, led by Director Fernando Freitas and comprising specialist Cost Consultants and Commercial Managers, several of whom were appointed during the original construction of One Za’abeel, worked closely with our client’s appointed contractors, architects and designers to deliver One&Only One Za’abeel in line with the operator’s resort-style, luxury vision. A unique offer in the brand’s portfolio, Omnium managed the complex budget efficiently and accurately without compromise on finish, using up-to-the-minute benchmarking techniques developed in-house by our Dubai branch office located just a short distance from the site, and applying skilful negotiation and management to bring the project to its close on schedule for the official launch in early 2024.

A Main Board Director specialising in the Commercial Management and Project Management of high-end and technically complex developments, Fernando is responsible for the delivery of major pre- and post-contract services for clients including Ithra Dubai and Emaar Properties.
