Master planned to create a new, iconic cityscape, Jeddah Economic Project will cement Saudi Arabia’s position on the world stage. Set in 5.3million square meters of land to the north of Jeddah, Jeddah Economic Project is envisioned to reflect a new era in urban development and living. Jeddah Tower, predicted to take the record as the world’s tallest building when completed, makes for a landmark centrepiece at + 1,000 m height.
Saudi Arabia is looking to the future. Jeddah Economic Project plays an instrumental part in the country’s development, with Omnium bringing a great deal of experience in handling projects of this scale.
Having supported the hugely successful Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa developments in Dubai, Omnium was appointed by the Jeddah Economic Company to deliver full pre-and post-contract quantity surveying services for The Jeddah Tower as part of a team of international consultants. Omnium is also providing pre-contract cost planning services on various other projects within the Phase 1 masterplan, including a super regional mall and water edge which will feature a magnificent man-made water front.
Led by our Jeddah based Director Peter Arokianathan, Omnium’s team supports the Jeddah Tower and the Phase 1 development with a full range of QS services from our saudi -based team. Working in partnership with the developer and consultants of international renown, Omnium is proud to take a key role in delivery of this unique project.
A joint venture between Kingdom Holding Company, Abrar Holding Company, Qila’a Jeddah Company and Saudi Bin Laden Group, real estate developer Jeddah Economic Company is backed by significant investment and responsible for overall delivery of the Kingdom City project. Omnium is delighted to be working in partnership with the JEC on one of the world’s largest urban developments.
