Omnium’s team in Saudi Arabia is delighted to have been appointed to the Red Sea Village development in Jeddah to provide full Pre Contract Consultancy services for the masterplan and infrastructure works. The development is a mixed used waterfront development with a land area of approximately 3.00 million m2. The first phase of the development is for the construction of the infrastructure works consisting of the dredging, rough grading, marine, deep and shallow services, bridges and landscaping works over an overall 36 months construction period. The dredging works has commenced, and the other tender packages shall be awarded over the next 6 months.
The vision for Red Sea Village
The Red Sea Village development, located around 40km north of Jeddah’s city centre and close to King Abdulaziz International Airport, sits alongside the Red Sea and will provide a diverse master plan concept for the area.

Red Sea Village’s master plan is a unique project, linking neighbourhoods to form a community fully-supported by the amenities it needs. With longevity at its heart, Red Sea Village will comprise accommodation of varying types together with commercial buildings, hotels and resorts, beaches, marinas, beautifully-planned and open public realm areas and other public services necessary for residents’ and visitors’ daily lives.
